For non-professionals - that's it. There is no need to bother your head with formulas and tables: you have given ratings on several parameters and that’s it, you get a ready-made, fairly objective rating.

The disadvantage of such rating systems, perhaps, is their insufficient MATHEMATICAL elaboration.

Such ratings are based on the fact that each of the assessed parameters has the SAME value for the formation of the final rating, and therefore the ratings for each of them lie in the same range.

Based on the GS Monitor rating, the project legend, for example, equally influences the formation of a generalized assessment as the quality of the referral program. Both parameters are rated from 1 to 5.

In reality, everything may be completely different. The legend of a reliable project may not be original, and its “weight” in the overall rating structure will be significantly lower than, for example, the rating for investment plans.

This means that the project legend could be rated not in the range from 1 to 5, but, say, in the range from 1 to 2.

With this approach, even the most original legend will, at best, be rated 2 points. Accordingly, the value of such a parameter as “project legend” will be relatively low.

If the project's investment plans are scored in the range from 1 to 5, then a score of “2” will mean that the project offers poor and inflexible plans.

Ratings that are built taking into account the UNEQUAL weight of each parameter separately are, as a rule, more ACCURATE and VALUABLE in practical terms.
